Bioprocess involves biocatalysts/microbes operating at optimal conditions targeting for value-added products formation from renewable sources, or remediation of hazardous materials
either in a fermentor or in situ. Therefore, our laboratory is aiming at 1) Screening of useful microbes with novel functions, 2) Characterizations for industrial applications, and 3) scale
up examinations using a fermentor (laboratory scale). Our study also involves researches for biocontrol with microbes in an agricultural application.
